TriTech Titanium Parts specializes in custom, precision net-shape parts for demanding industries

DETROIT—A newly minted manufacturer that specializes in precision, net shape titanium parts has built its operations to support custom manufacturing for industries from automotive to medical and aerospace.
TriTech Titanium Parts produces these often complex parts via three manufacturing processes—3D binder jet printing, metal injection molding, and investment casting—under one roof. TriTech’s strategy is centered on the belief that a “one technology fits all” mindset simply doesn’t work when trying to manufacture precision titanium parts with the best performance characteristics, said Bob Swenson, president of TriTech Titanium Parts, in a release.
“We’ve proven that different technologies provide different results, and, therefore, we have assembled a one-stop production resource offering the best option to many industries, from automotive and industrial to medical and aerospace. We match the design to the best manufacturing process to make a superior part,” Swenson said in the release.
TriTech, launched in April 2022, collaborates with customers to match the best manufacturing process to their specific part. The company’s broad manufacturing capabilities can be applied to small batch and large volume titanium parts production. They can also be used for rapid prototyping, to expedite product development and component testing, and for design and production decisions, the company said.
“We can go quickly from prototype to production to meet tight launch schedules and first-to-market product requirements,” said Swenson.
TriTech’s engineering and production facility is located in Detroit. The company works with a fully domestic supply chain, a key enabler in helping TriTech to deliver custom-made net shape titanium parts on-time and on-budget.
TriTech said its processes for producing titanium parts are highly specialized and have been developed internally to consistently achieve best practices for quality, performance, and delivery.
“At TriTech, we collaborate directly with the customer, preferably starting with the design phase, so we can help our customers design a part for manufacturability that also fits their requirements,” said Swenson. “Every part we make is custom-made.”
